DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

All payments and donations for trips are tax deductible.
Background: Army of the Kind has been traveling to the Dominican Republic since 2007. We have adopted an orphanage in Santo Domingo that houses 30 beautiful boys. During our time at the orphanage we have been able to accomplish many things such as fixing the plumbing, building shelves for the boys rooms, painting, cleaning, organizing and of course our favorite time is fellowship with the boys and staff. We also have a nutrition center in the city of Barahona which is a four hour drive from Santo Domingo. The village of Bombita is mostly populated by Haitian immigrants who live in extreme poverty. Many children go days without a healthy meal. Over 100 children eat a daily meal at our center which was opened in 2012. Our goal is to love on the community hoping that through the daily meals they can see the love of Jesus through our actions. The children we serve in the Dominican Republic are more than just beautiful faces, they are our family.
