Dominican Republic, Batey 1 Nutrition Project Biggest Need AOTK is building a nutrition center in Batey 1 in the Dominican Republic. We are currently serving over 150 children daily. Our team will utilize this location as a place to cook warm meals and serve the children. We also want to host several life skill workshops that will create many opportunities for the community.

Dominican Republic -Build a House Project
In the villages we serve, there are many homes that are falling over or apart. We love to select a home each year that we will completely demo and build again for the family. This is life changing for them. Most are elderly and can no longer work or have little resources. Will you help us build a home?
What does it cost to build a small 2 bedroom home in the Dominican Republic? $5,000 The pictures to the left are when we built Yerone's home. He is a man in his 80's who worked in the sugar cane fields his whole life and makes a few dollars a day. He had never had his own bed and his home was falling down. Dominican Republic- Roof Project
Homes in the villages in Barahona are made of mostly wood and tin roofs. After a couple of years the tin roof begins to rust and holes are formed. We love to be able to provide families in the community with a new roof.

Honduras- San Antonio de Cortes- House Building Project
In Honduras there is a huge single mom community in need of a home. Hurricanes, storms, fires or just plain poverty have left families homeless and in desperate need of stable living.
The family we select will receive a brand new cinder block 2-3 bedroom home. We do our best to make sure they have electricity and plumbing. The pictures and videos on the left show the homes we have built and the families blessed by them. What does it cost? $7,000 |
