Purpose: Army of the kind traveled in 2010 in response to the earthquake. Since the beginning, the purpose of our trips have been to create lifelong advocates in the fight against global poverty. We achieve this by providing opportunities for people to join us in construction projects, distribution of food, clothing and medical supplies, as well as reaching children that have been forgotten by society. We have built a global network of partners who are eager to connect us with communities throughout all of Haiti. Since the beginning of our travel to Haiti we have reached over 30 communities and over 5,000 children! We currently are sponsoring a school in Pernier, Haiti by the name of Gosen Institiute. We are working alongside a Pastor and his wife to help orphaned children receive an education. The conditions in this community are so poor, families can not afford to send their children to school. Travel with us and help us to make their lives a little better.
