Help us meet our goal
Can we get 1,000 of our friends to give $30 or more to reach our goal of $30,000 in 30 days? We’re raising money to purchase a much needed truck for our Domincan Republic Nutrition Sites. We serve warm meals to over 500 children combined at both of our locations. The trouble is that getting the food from one site to another is challenging because we have no vehicle. Batey 1 is an impoverished remote village that many people have trouble traveling to because of the bad roads. Renting a vehicle can also be costly, so it's time that we believe that with your help we can make this happen. This vehicle would also allow our team to make mutilple visits to both sites and follow up with the progress in the community. In addition, we are over half way point of building the nutrition center in Batey 1 and this truck can transport the materials, saving us a lot of money. Skip a meal or a few coffees and donate $30 to help us achieve this goal before the end of the month. We can do it! We are so thankful for your giving hearts. |

WHAT WE DO
OUR MISSION IS SIMPLEENCOUNTER
|
We feed hungry children around the world physically, educationally, and spiritually. We partner with local churches in impoverished communities, plant nutrition centers and work together to eradicate poverty one child at a time. |
WHEELS FOR MEALS
IF YOU HAVE A CAR THAT DOESN'T RUN, YOU CAN FEED KIDS BY DONATING IT TO US!
T E S T I M O N I ES
When I met Julie, the tugging in my heart stopped. The beating drum in my heart stopped. I knew I was where I needed to be. I knew I was on the right path. Having a small amount deducted from my bank account each month so Julie can eat, have medical treatment and a roof over heard head was good but meeting her was something else entirely. Children without parents need more than basic needs. They need love. Seeing where my donation was going also made me feel as though it was not enough. Those children have so many needs. Meeting Julie and all the children AOTK serves in Haiti changed me. |
